Following the enthusiastic response to our Save the Date, we’re delighted to share the full details of the 80th Anniversary Celebration and officially welcome alumni and former staff to book their place at this special event!
2025 marks 80 years since St Joseph’s Convent School - now Crackley Hall - made its home in Kenilworth. To celebrate this milestone, we’re hosting a special Open House on the morning of Saturday 4 October. All former pupils and staff from Crackley Hall and its predecessor, St Joseph’s Convent School, are cordially invited to attend.
The event will include a celebratory brunch buffet, opportunities to reconnect with fellow alumni and staff, and time to explore the school and its archives. We’re also planning a series of short talks from former pupils and staff, sharing memories of their time at the school.
Format of the Morning:
10.00am - Arrivals and refreshments, with musical presentation by the Crackley Hall Chamber Choir
10.25am - Official welcome by Headmaster, Rob Duigan
10.35am - Guest Speakers will share their memories as former pupils
10:45am - Brunch Buffet, with optional celebratory fizz!
11.30am - Rob Duigan will host an informal conversation with some former members of staff
11.45am - Explore the school at your leisure and peruse the archive display curated especially for this celebration by Archivist, Jo Wong.
12.30pm - Farewells
We will require a small donation upon booking in support of the hospitality provided. Please register and make payment via the button above by Friday 26 September at the latest, including any additional guests in your booking and informing us of any special dietary requirements.
As part of the anniversary celebrations, we will also be producing a new commemorative booklet about the history of St Joseph’s and Crackley Hall. We are keen for this to include memories from former members of staff and pupils, and would very much welcome any stories or reflections that you would like to share with us. Please do send these through to archives@princethorpe.co.uk by 11 July 2025.
We hope to make this a joyful celebration of our shared history and community - and we’d be thrilled to see you there.
If you have any queries about the event, please contact Foundation Alumni and Development Officer, Caroline Spencer, at oldprincethorpians@princethorpe.co.uk or call 01926 634209.
