Ian passed on this message from Paddy's wife:
"Pat, my lovely partner and, more recently, husband, passed away on 22 May after being diagnosed two months earlier with pancreatic cancer. His funeral was held on Friday 3 July at North East Surrey Crematorium. After the funeral, family and friends raised a glass to Pat at The Nonsuch Inn, Cheam; it's what he told us we had to do!"
The family requested no flowers but welcomed donations to a Just Giving page which had been set up in Paddy's name for St Raphael's Hospice where he spent his last few weeks.
Our prayers and sympathies are with Paddy's family and friends at this difficult time.
