In Memoriam

News of Eileen's passing was shared by Father Kevin Hooper at Crackley Hall's St Joseph's Day Mass on 19 March. In attendance at the event were many former pupils of St Joseph's Convent School, as it was known then. Father Kevin commented on Eileen's love for the school and on how she had always served it and the community of Kenilworth faithfully. He shared his memory of Eileen working at the school when he first came arrived, some 27 years ago.

Looking through back issues of Peeper's Pie we came across an article written by Eileen in the 1986-87 edition, telling of her memories of working at 'The Gables' during the war and of the Sisters of Mercy coming to Crackley Hall.

Our sincere condolences, thoughts and prayers go out Eileen's family and friends.
