OP Friendly Faces Scheme Helps The Next Generation Of OPs

Over the last few weeks, we have been busy matching OP Friendly Faces (those already established at university) to our recent Upper Sixth Leavers who are heading off to university this September.

Over the last few weeks, we have been busy matching OP Friendly Faces (those already established at university) to our recent Upper Sixth Leavers who are heading off to university this September. We have successfully managed to match leavers in Bristol, Bath, Loughborough, Cambridge, Southampton and Liverpool to name a few.

Our friendly faces scheme has been running for a few years now; it provides a friendly, familiar face to meet up with over a coffee and a slice of cake, (compliments of the OP's) or having someone to call in their new university town or city.

OP's secretary Melanie Butler says "We really are delighted that we have been able to match up some more of our leavers with OP Friendly Faces. We hope everyone has enjoyed Freshers Week and is settling in after their first few weeks away from home."
